BOWLING GREEN — Following a loss, Bowling Green coach Scot Loeffler said coaches typically can pinpoint three or four plays in a game where it all went wrong.
In reviewing Bowling Green's 38-3 loss at Toledo to open the season, Loeffler said the count of missed opportunities reached double digits as the game quickly spun out of control.
"We played atrocious offensive football in the first half, in particular — just atrocious. It couldn't have gone worse," Loeffler said at his weekly press conference.
Despite the ugly score and an uglier offensive night, the Falcons (0-1) had two small silver linings going into Week 2.
