BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green coach Scot Loeffler isn’t thinking about the four-letter word that could become reality for the Falcons this week.
“Getting ahead of our skis, in terms of thinking about things in the future, I think it's as Coach [Nick] Saban would say, rat poison,” Loeffler said. “I think that's rat poison, to be quite honest with you.”
It is a testament to how far Bowling Green has come in the span of a year that Loeffler can borrow catchphrases from Alabama. At this juncture in 2021, the Falcons were 3-6.
