BOWLING GREEN – Scot Loeffler has his Bowling Green State University football team motivated for its matchup with New Mexico State in the Quick Lane Bowl in less than two weeks.
The Falcons’ coach knows what is at stake not only for this season, but for the program going forward.
“We’re the only show in town on that day, and this is a really important game,” Loeffler said after the Falcons held their first official bowl practice on Wednesday at Perry Field House. “This is a really important game for two [reasons]; No. 1, we didn’t send our seniors out on a victory, and we need to do that.
