BOWLING GREEN — Since 2019, Bowling Green’s name has largely been synonymous with struggle in college football.
Coach Scot Loeffler’s first Falcons team was 3-9, and not a particularly competitive 3-9. In 2020, things were even worse as Bowling Green limped to an 0-5 ledger. Last year, the Falcons improved to 4-8, but still looked light years away from the triumphs of the Dave Clawson and Dino Babers eras.
The objective for Bowling Green in 2022 appears simple: turn over a new leaf and avoid the inconsistency that has plagued Loeffler’s first three Falcons teams during the wholesale rebuild.
