ATHENS, Ohio — Ohio University used a 10-0 run early in the first half to take a 27-12 lead on Bowling Green State University and cruised to a 92-58 Mid-American Conference men’s basketball victory on Friday night.
Dwight Wilson had 20 points to lead the Bobcats (18-13-10-8 MAC) past the Falcons (11-20, 5-13), preventing BGSU from making the field for the MAC tournament in Cleveland next week.
OU’s Elmore James had 17 points while going 6 of 9 from the field and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line. AJ Brown shot 5 for 11, including 3 for 8 from beyond the arc, to finish with 14 points.
