Bowling Green defeats Green Bay 69-51 in WNIT second round

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Allison Day scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Bowling Green women's basketball team to a 69-51 win over Green Bay in the WNIT second round on Monday at the Kress Center.

The teams were tied at 17 after one quarter, but Bowling Green outscored Green Bay 13-5 in the second and 16-12 in the third to take control of the game.

Elissa Brett added 13 points for the Falcons (29-6) and Lexi Fleming scored 12 points.

Amy Velasco dished out 11 assists to go along with her five points.
