COLUMBUS — Don’t let the final score fool you.
If Wednesday’s game at the Schottenstein Center did anything, it proved that Bowling Green State University is a fully capable Mid-American Conference women’s basketball team.
The Falcons lost to the 21st-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 94-63, but the final score was not an indictment on Bowling Green — it was more about how good and deep Ohio State is.
“Ohio State’s a really good team,” Falcons coach Robyn Fralick said. “I think that we’re really just learning a lot about our team. We have a lot of new parts, and I think we’re still figuring out how it all fits together.
