AKRON, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons continued competition at the 2023 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday (May 12), climbing the standings to conclude the day in fifth. Mateya Haintz opened the second day with a conference title in the hammer throw, recording a mark of 197-1.00 (60.08m) that is the best of her BGSU career. The throws dominance carried into the shot put, where repeated her performance from the indoor MAC Championship and took the shot put crown. She threw 52-9.75 (16.10m), earning her fourth career MAC title.
