BOWLING GREEN — Two weeks ago, a no-fun night for Bowling Green provided a nonetheless valuable experience.
The Falcons, who have played almost exclusively close games in the Mid-American Conference — and won nearly all of them — had no answers in the second half of a 74-59 loss on Feb. 11 at Akron.
Bowling Green (20-7, 11-3 MAC) didn’t have to wait long for another chance and an even bigger game. The Zips (21-6, 11-3) arrive Tuesday at the Stroh Center for the most important game of the MAC regular season, a contest that will place the winner alone in first place with three games to go.
