FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Bowling Green State University hockey team picked up one WCHA point on Friday night (Feb. 14), tying Alaska Fairbanks during the overtime period. The Nanooks scored 45 seconds into the double-overtime period to claim the extra WCHA point with a 3-2 final score. The Falcons lept out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, but two power play goals by Alaska sent the game into extra time. Alec Rauhauser and Brandon Kruse were the goal scorers for the Orange and Brown on the night. The outcome moves Bowling Green's record to 15-13-3 on the season while being 10-10-3-2 in the WCHA.
