BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program and head coach Todd Simon announced the signing of Jason Spurgin on Wednesday morning (April 26). Spurgin, a 6-foot-11 center, will join the Falcons after spending the last three seasons at Southern Utah. A native of Toowoomba, Australia, Spurgin has started all 72 games for the Thunderbirds since the start of the 2021-22 campaign, helping lead the team to 47 wins during that time. During his three years at SUU, Spurgin aided the Thunderbirds to a .698 win percentage with a record of 67-29.
