MOBILE, Ala. — Clearly the Bowling Green State University football team did not wish to end its 2015 season with the 58-27 drubbing it absorbed Wednesday at the GoDaddy Bowl.
“I’m sad this is the last game I’m ever going to play as a Falcon,” senior defensive lineman Taylor Royster said.
But when Royster was asked if the sadness came from the second-half collapse, he quickly replied, “[I’m sad] just because it’s my last game. No matter how the game turned out — even if we had won by a lot — I would be sad.
“I’m sad because it’s the last time I’ll suit up for this school.
