BGSU's Stewart, Sipp to enter transfer portal

BOWLING GREEN — Two of the top juniors on Bowling Green State University’s football team are searching for a new home.

Running back Terion Stewart and linebacker Joseph Sipp, Jr., will enter the NCAA transfer portal. Stewart announced his decision in a post on his X account (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday afternoon, while Sipp’s decision was reported by on3.com on Tuesday.

Stewart, a 5-foot-9, 220-pound back and Sandusky High School graduate, led BGSU in rushing in each of his four seasons with the team. The 2023 second-team All-Mid-American Conference selection had a career-high 890 yards and six touchdowns on 160 carries this season.
