BOWLING GREEN — When Bowling Green’s coaches approached Quintin Morris with an idea to change Morris’ position, they had two major points working in their favor.
First, they believed moving Morris to a tight end hybrid was a more natural landing place for the 6-foot-4 pass-catcher, a change that would be best for his long-term future.
The second was even better: Freed from the constraints of being a wide receiver, he was not only welcomed but encouraged to eat and to eat frequently.
“It’s definitely been a relief. I mean, I can eat,” said a smiling Morris.
