BOWLING GREEN — Daeqwon Plowden earned a spot on SportsCenter’s top-10 plays for his thunderous transition dunk in Bowling Green’s 62-59 victory against Eastern Michigan on Tuesday.
ESPN’s flagship show slotted the play as its No. 4 play for Tuesday’s games.
During the first half, Plowden collected an Eastern Michigan turnover, drove the length of the court to gain a three-on-one, and then soared over EMU’s Darion Spottsville for a dunk plus a foul.
Current Sacramento Kings player Richaun Holmes, a Bowling Green alumnus, was in attendance and being interviewed on the ESPN broadcast when the play happened.
