BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University senior Petra Indrova earned All-American honors for the second consecutive season from the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Wednesday.
Indrova, who became the first player in program history to be named All-American a year ago, was tabbed honorable mention for the second straight season. The 6-foot outside hitter had 332 kills and 332 digs, becoming the first Falcon since 2012 to surpass 300 kills and 300 digs in the same season.
“We are thrilled and proud that Petra was named a back-to-back AVCA All-America Honorable Mention and recognized for another fantastic season as a BGSU Falcon,” BGSU coach Danijela Tomic said in a release.
