BGSU's Fannin on the verge of breaking more records during historic season

BOWLING GREEN — For the past three seasons, Harold Fannin, Jr., has let his play on the football field do the talking.

It has led to a historic career for the Bowling Green State University star tight end, and he’s looking forward to another opportunity to take the field with his teammates.

A soft-spoken and humble player who has already rewritten the record books within BGSU’s program, Fannin will – perhaps – be playing in his final collegiate game as the Falcons take on Arkansas State in Thursday’s 68 Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

In a season full of accomplishments, including becoming the first consensus All-American in BGSU football history and the first FBS tight end to be named a league player of the year, Fannin could put his name on multiple national tight end records as well with a big game against the Red Wolves.
