BOWLING GREEN — The truth in Mid-American Conference women’s soccer has remained so for three years, and on Sunday afternoon at Cochrane Stadium, it was confirmed for a fourth.
The MAC runs through Bowling Green State University.
The No.1-seeded Falcons defeated No. 3 Kent State 3-0 for their fourth consecutive MAC tournament championship, a feat accomplished on the heels of winning the MAC regular season title in each of those four seasons.
“I was blessed to inherit a very good program two years ago,” Falcons coach Jimmy Walker said. “We’ve been able to maintain the levels that we’ve been at, advance it, move it forward, and it means a lot to us.
