BOWLING GREEN — Nine different players scored for Bowling Green State University’s women’s basketball team and six of them scored nine or more points during the Falcons’ 51-point, 92-41 thrashing of St. Bonaventure in nonconference action on Saturday afternoon.
The game was never particularly close as BGSU opened up to a 29-15 lead after the first quarter, a margin that ballooned to a 44-25 lead at halftime. In the second half, the Falcons (2-2) limited the Bonnies (1-2) to just 16 points. In the final 20 minutes, BGSU scored 48 points.
The Falcons were efficient from all spots of the floor, shooting it a 61.
