FAIRBORN — Morgan Sharps drained five 3-pointers en route to a game-high 19 points, while Sophie Dziekan added a double-double, as the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team knocked off Wright State 69-48 in a nonleague game Tuesday at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.
BGSU (6-2) outscored Wright State (6-4) in each quarter, including 13-4 in the second and 15-8 in the fourth. The Falcons shot 50 percent (27 of 54) from the floor, including 57.1 percent (8 of 14) from 3-point range, while the Raiders shot 28.6 percent (18 of 63) and 18.2 percent (4 of 22) from the floor and beyond the arc, respectively.
