BOWLING GREEN — Allison Day poured in a game-high 27 points on 12 of 18 shooting, as Bowling Green State University’s women’s basketball team cruised to an 88-59 Mid-American Conference win over Miami (Ohio) on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
The Falcons notched their ninth consecutive win to improve to 20-2 (9-1 MAC). The Redhawks fell to 8-15 (3-7 MAC).
Nyla Hampton added 14 points and five assists for BGSU, while Elissa Brett had 14 points and six rebounds.
Maddi Cluse had 17 points and a game-high eight rebounds for Miami.
BGSU led 27-13 after the first quarter and used a 22-13 edge in the third to take a 67-48 lead.
