BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s women’s basketball team made a program-record 18 3-pointers and scored at least 20 points in every quarter to cruise past Ohio 91-61 in a Mid-American Conference game on Wednesday at the Stroh Center.
The Falcons improved to 16-11 (9-6 MAC) with their fifth straight win and seventh in the past eight games. The Bobcats fell to 6-20 (4-11).
BGSU used a 29-9 advantage in the second quarter to take a 50-27 halftime lead. The Falcons led for nearly 36 minutes overall.
BGSU connected on 53.4 percent (31 of 58) of its shots, including 50 percent from beyond the arc.
