YPSILANTI, Mich. — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team finished off a strong end to the regular season with an 87-67 win on the road against Eastern Michigan in Mid-American Conference action Saturday.
BGSU (18-12, 11-7 MAC) won seven of its last eight games to close the season, rolling into the MAC tournament in Cleveland. The Falcons, seeded sixth in the league tournament, will face third-seeded Buffalo (24-6, 13-5) in the fourth quarterfinal of the day Wednesday, 30 minutes after the end of Game 3.
Those two teams squared off back on Jan. 8 in Bowling Green, with the Bulls coming away with a 10-point victory (70-60).
