BOWLING GREEN — Freshman guard Paige Kohler led a balanced Bowling Green State University scoring effort with 15 points while grabbing six rebounds as the Falcons topped Eastern Michigan 69-57 in a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball game Wednesday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU notched its third straight win to improve to 9-4 (3-0 MAC).
Eastern Michigan fell to 4-9 (1-2).
Morgan Sharps had 14 points and five assists for the Falcons, while Amy Velasco had 13 points, six assists, and four steals. Taya Ellis had 10 points in 16 minutes off the bench, and Erika Porter just missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
