BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s women’s basketball team may not have enough healthy players to have a 5-on-5 scrimmage during practice, but the Falcons aren’t using that as an excuse when it comes to games.
Having only nine players available has become the norm for BGSU as injuries continue to occur at inopportune times. Despite a tough stretch recently in which they lost three straight games and four in a five-game span, the Falcons (11-8, 5-4 Mid-American Conference) are still in the top third of the league standings ahead of Saturday’s showdown at rival Toledo.
