BOWLING GREEN — Top-ranked South Carolina made its first 10 shots from the floor, including five 3-pointers, as the Gamecocks cruised past Bowling Green State University 93-62 on Tuesday night at a packed Stroh Center.
Morgan Sharps scored 25 points to lead BGSU (6-3), which was playing a No. 1-ranked team for the first time in program history. Chloe Kitts led a balanced South Carolina attack with 21 points.
The official attendance for the game was 4,195, which was the largest crowd for a home BGSU women’s basketball game in Stroh Center history and the second-largest home crowd overall.
