BOWLING GREEN — Erika Porter dominated in the paint offensively for Bowling Green State University’s women’s basketball team, but the rest of the team struggled shooting from the floor in the Falcons’ 70-55 Mid-American Conference loss to Buffalo on Wednesday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU fell to 14-12 (8-7 MAC), while Buffalo (16-10, 9-6) moved into sole possession of fourth place in the MAC standings.
Porter, a 6-foot senior forward, scored a game-high 22 points on 10-of-10 shooting. She also added 13 rebounds and two assists in notching her second double-double in the last three games.
The rest of the Falcons shot just 25.
