BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s women’s basketball team jumped out to a 27-12 lead after the first quarter and cruised past the University of Findlay 92-51 in a nonconference game on Friday at the Stroh Center.
The Falcons, who were playing in their first home game since Nov. 28, won their ninth consecutive contest to improve to 11-1.
Twelve different BGSU players scored, including four in double figures. Nyla Hampton had 18 points and four assists, while Elissa Brett chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds.
Morgan Sharps (14 points) and Allison Day (10) also reached double digits for the Falcons.
