BGSU women struggle offensively in loss to Kent State.

KENT, Ohio — Kent State’s Lindsey Thall had 19 points as the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team fell to the Golden Flashes 61-47 at the MAC Center.

Kent State (12-8, 5-4 Mid-American Conference) held Bowling Green (8-13, 1-8) to just 19 points in the second half. The Falcons scored just four points in the third quarter. BGSU shot 31.8 percent from the field.

Kadie Hempfling led Bowling Green scorers with nine points in 18 minutes. Angela Perry and Caterrion Thompson each scored eight.

Elissa Brett had 10 rebounds.

Asiah Dingle had 16 points for the Flashes.
