BOWLING GREEN — Three scorers of 20 or more points enabled the Bowling Green women’s basketball team to cruise to an 89-62 victory in its season opener against Cleveland State on Wednesday at the Stroh Center.
Madisen Parker settled in from beyond the 3-point arc. She made 7-of-11 shots from deep and contributed two additional field goals for a total of 25 points. She also led the Falcons with 32 minutes played.
Angela Perry and Caterrion Thompson each scored 20 points for Bowling Green. Perry converted 10-of-12 field goals and added seven rebounds.
Kadie Hempfling notched a double-double with 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the Falcons, in addition to six points.
