DEKALB, Ill. — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team fell 88-47 at Northern Illinois on Wednesday night at the NIU Convocation Center.
Myia Starks had 21 points to lead the Huskies, Mikayla Voigt scored 16, Riley Blackwell had 14 points, and Abby Woollacott scored 11.
Freshman Morgan McMillen paced the Falcons with 17 points, and Andrea Cecil had nine points as BGSU (7-13, 0-9) stayed winless in the Mid-American Conference.
Bowling Green led 24-16 after one quarter, but Northern Illinois outscored the Falcons 18-6 in the second to take a 34-30 lead at the half.
