MUNCIE, Ind. — Unable to maintain an early lead, the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team fell 77-70 at Ball State in a Mid-American Conference game Wednesday.
Andrea Cecil led the Falcons (7-6, 0-2 MAC) with a game-high 24 points and a season-high five assists. Cecil is averaging 15.9 points per game, second-best on the team behind Morgan McMillen (16.2).
Sydney Lambert also added 14 points and three assists, and Angela Perry had 13 points for Bowling Green.
The Falcons got off to a hot start in the first quarter, with five players scoring. They led 22-17 after shooting 4 of 11 from 3-point range and 8 of 20 overall from the field.
