BOWLING GREEN — In a meeting of Mid-American Conference contenders, Bowling Green left no doubt on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
The Falcons pushed past visiting Ohio in the second quarter, turned the game into a runaway during the third, and coasted to a 69-53 victory on their home floor.
Elissa Brett scored a career-high 21 points to go with 10 rebounds as the Falcons (14-4, 10-3) became the first MAC women's team to reach 10 conference wins this season.
“I think one of our team strengths is we don't have one star player — we have a whole team that can play and we all have our roles,” Brett said.
