BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University volleyball star Petra Indrova suffered a lower-body injury and had to be carried off the Stroh Center court by coaches Wednesday during practice.
Indrova, a two-time All-American and two-time Mid-American Conference player of the year, went up and slammed a powerful spike during a portion of practice that was open to the media, but she came down awkwardly. The 6-foot senior outside hitter was in noticeable pain right away and was carried to the locker room.
BGSU coach Danijela Tomic said after practice they are still evaluating the injury and she doesn’t want to speculate, but they hope to know more information soon.
