BGSU volleyball upset by Eastern Michigan in MAC tournament

OXFORD, Ohio — The Bowling Green State University volleyball team was upset in the semifinal round of the Mid-American Conference tournament Saturday, falling in four games to Eastern Michigan at Miami University’s Millett Hall.

The Eagles (20-13) continued their run through the tournament as a No. 5 seed, winning the match 25-13, 25-14, 23-25, 25-20. They beat eighth-seeded Kent State on Thursday and fourth-seeded Ball State on Friday in a quarterfinal to advance to this point.

The Falcons (19-11), the top seed in the tournament after they won the regular-season championship, were led by Jessi Holly’s 13 kills and 10 digs.
