BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s volleyball team has a couple of golden opportunities within the Mid-American Conference entering the final week of the 2024 regular season.
For a red-hot Falcons’ squad that has won nine straight matches, it’s all about putting an emphasis on the controllables.
“I think the biggest thing that we’ve been focusing on is ourselves,” BGSU sophomore setter Amanda Otten said. “At the beginning of the season and throughout this whole time, we always say that our biggest competition is ourselves, and it does matter who’s on that other side.
“But at the same time, it doesn’t, because as long as we play the game we know that we can play, we’re going to ultimately become successful.
