LAFAYETTE, La. — Bowling Green State University lost a lead down the stretch of the first half to Louisiana, then the Ragin’ Cajuns owned the second half for a 86-60 defeat of the Falcons in a game that was part of the Mid-American Conference-Sun Belt Conference Challenge on Sunday afternoon at the Cajundome.
BGSU was led by Marcus Hill with his nation-leading ninth straight 20-point game. He finished with 22 points.
It was Hill’s basket with 10:11 left in the first half that gave the Falcons their final lead of the game at 22-20. Louisiana finished the half on a 21-8 spurt, taking a 41-30 advantage into the locker room.
