Levi Gazarek grew up with the Battle of I-75 right up the road from his hometown of North Baltimore.
The rivalry means everything to the Bowling Green State University football player, and so did the milestone he accomplished in his final showdown against Toledo.
Gazarek, a fifth-year senior who has been used primarily as a blocking tight end during his time at BGSU, scored his first career touchdown in his 46th game as a Falcon when he hauled in a 2-yard score from Connor Bazelak in the second quarter of BGSU’s 41-26 win on Saturday at the Glass Bowl.
