BOWLING GREEN — For Bowling Green to earn additional home games this season, there is work yet to do — but Friday was an excellent start.
The Falcons barraged visiting Ferris State by scoring six goals in an 19-minute span across the first two periods, and Bowling Green cruised to a 6-1 victory at Slater Family Ice Arena in the first of two games against the Bulldogs.
Cameron Wright scored twice, Will Cullen and Alec Rauhauser both had multi-point games, and Justin Wells scored his first goal of the season in the victory.
With the win, Bowling Green (16-13-4) moved within one point of fifth-place Michigan Tech and within three points of fourth-place Alaska, both of which have played one more WCHA game than BG and are idle this weekend.
