BOWLING GREEN — Lucian Anderson III was a one-man show at his position during Bowling Green State University’s spring football practices the past two months.
But there is no question that his teammates and coaches rallied around the redshirt freshman quarterback and his rare opportunity to take every snap during spring ball.
“I felt like they’ve taken me in a whole lot,” Anderson said after the Falcons’ final spring practice on Saturday. “They knew that, personally, I was going to be nervous.
“I was going to be a little bit shaky taking all of these reps to begin with, and they brought me in, they gave me confidence, and they protected me, which is all I can ask for.
