Defense (76.6): BGSU had its second-best defensive grade of the season in Saturday’s 38-13 Mid-American Conference victory at Ball State. A season-best 78.2 coverage grade highlighted the Falcons’ performance, and they also fared well in run defense (70.5) and pass rush (70.3). BGSU allowed a season-low 43 rushing yards on 24 carries, and the Falcons had four sacks totaling a season-high 38 yards.
