BGSU open to new games in 2020, but options limited

BOWLING GREEN — After losing two games from its projected football schedule, Bowling Green is open to the possibility of adding new dates for the 2020 season — but options are dwindling for the Falcons to do so.

According to Bowling Green department of athletics spokesman Jason Knavel, the football program is "considering opportunities" to replace the gaps on its schedule.

The Falcons lost both of their non-conference road games for the upcoming season due to schedule changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Bowling Green originally was scheduled to open the season Sept. 5 at Ohio State and play Sept.
