Sparks, Md. – Bowling Green State University and legendary coach Mickey Cochrane were recognized this weekend at the National Lacrosse Center with a pillar dedicated to the program's history and achievements. Cochrane was flanked by a number of his former players at the event.
The entrance path at the National Lacrosse Center, named the Henry A. Rosenberg, Jr. Promenade, highlights many of the collegiate lacrosse programs that have been central to the mission of US Lacrosse. Cochrane, who is the father and architect of the BGSU men's soccer and lacrosse programs, was inducted into the BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1992.
