Bowling Green (7-4-1) has qualified for the NCAA tournament for the seventh time in program history, but it's the Falcons' first appearance since 1997.
Bowling Green plays Monmouth (5-2-1) in an opening-round game on Thursday at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C. at 6 p.m.
BG coach Eric Nichols, who is in his 12th season at the helm, led the Falcons to the Mid-American Conference title and an automatic berth in the national tournament.
