BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team will get another opportunity to add to its win total this season.
The Falcons accepted a bid for the 2024 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament and will host Purdue University Fort Wayne at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Stroh Center.
"We are honored to accept the invitation to play in the CIT," first-year BGSU coach Todd Simon said in a news release. "It is a great opportunity to continue to compete with this special group for BGSU and build on a 20-win season.”
BGSU (20-13) will be making its first CIT appearance since 2015 and first postseason appearance since 2021 when the Falcons lost to Stetson in the College Basketball Invitational.
