MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team couldn’t recover from a 16-point halftime deficit in a 90-71 Mid-American Conference loss to Central Michigan on Saturday at McGuirk Arena.
The Falcons lost their fifth straight game to fall to 7-14 (2-7 MAC). The Chippewas improved to 10-11 (4-5).
Central Michigan shot a blistering 60.6 percent in the first half in taking a 49-33 lead. BGSU pulled within eight on two occasions after the break, including when Jamai Felt threw down a dunk on Braelon Green’s lob pass to make it 63-55 with 9:31 left.
