OXFORD, Ohio — In what was a game of runs and momentum shifts, Bowling Green State University had the last laugh in a 78-73 victory over Miami (Ohio) in Mid-American Conference men’s basketball play at Millett Hall on Tuesday night.
The win puts BGSU at 13-4 overall and 4-1 in the MAC.
The Falcons closed the game on a 15-2 run over the final 5:30. Miami’s last points of the night came on a layup from Ryan Mabrey with 4:01 to go, giving the RedHawks a 73-67 lead at that point.
BGSU scored the last 11 points of the game, beginning with a Trey Thomas layup, then consecutive baskets by Rashaun Agee which tied the game at 73 with just under two minutes remaining.
