BOWLING GREEN — The result was another loss, but Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team once again showed it can compete with the best teams in the Mid-American Conference.
As thrilling as it was for the Falcons to match red-hot Toledo point for point before falling 91-86 on Saturday at a packed Stroh Center, the frustration of not having that energy for a full 40-minute game during BGSU’s recent tough stretch stood out to coach Michael Huger.
“Very exciting to watch and knowing that we can do it, frustrating also because this is what we should’ve been doing all year long,” Huger said.
