BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team posted a season-best scoring output in outlasting Division II Fairmont State 93-74 Monday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU (5-7) ended a two-game losing streak by shooting 53.6 percent from the floor and going 27-for-31 from the free-throw line.
Leon Ayers III led four BGSU players in double-figure scoring with 20 points.
Fairmont State (8-4), which entered the game ranked fourth in Division II in points per game (94.8), was led by Fonz Hale’s 25 points.
