YPSILANTI, Mich. — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team overcame a disastrous start to the second half to earn a critical 65-60 Mid-American Conference victory over Eastern Michigan on Tuesday at the George Gervin GameAbove Center.
The Falcons notched their fifth win in the past seven games to improve to 12-16 (6-9 MAC). Eastern Michigan had its three-game winning streak snapped in falling to 14-14 (7-8).
BGSU jumped out to a 35-19 lead at halftime, but Eastern Michigan started the first six minutes of the second half on a 17-1 run to tie the game at 36.
